Residential - Additions and Renovations

Due to a neighboring building partially collapsing onto the side wall of this existing residential building, the decision was made to not only repair the masonry walls from the damage, but to add on to the rear and side of the building and provide a complete renovation throughout. This new triplex offers units with three bedrooms, one-and-a-half bathrooms, and a private laundry closet. The first floor unit has access to the rear yard, while the upper units each have a private deck over the light well of the building.

The one-story portion of this house was removed to allow for a larger two-story addition, providing a greater amount of living space. Interior renovations were performed throughout.

Conversion of an abandoned Victorian twin in shell condition into three luxury 2-bedroom apartments. Renovations include stripping the interior of the building down to the structure and rebuilding new, including utilities, fire ratings, fire sprinklers, finishes, and appliances. The front patio was rebuilt to match the historic character.

The existing home was completely renovated, both inside and out. The exterior was completely refinished in stone, replacing the existing wood facade, while the stucco on the chimneys was replaced with a masonry brick veneer. Several of the interior rooms were renovated as well, with the basement being finished off as a new family room. On the ground floor, the kitchen was completely redesigned and a mudroom was added, prompting an expansion of the garage. On the second floor, the bedrooms were reconfigured to allow for a new shared bathroom and a master suite, which expands out over the extended garage and includes a cathedral ceiling and a faux balcony to allow plenty of natural light.

Renovations and additions were required to update this home to meet the needs of a growing family. New side entry foyer and  mudroom were added to the existing side of the home. The existing 2 car garage and adjacent breakfast area were rebuilt to accomodate a one car garage and a great room with cathedral ceiling.   A custom built in pininsula  seating area connects the kitchen and new great room.

The interior of the home was completely stripped down to the structural elements and renovated, opening up the first floor into a much more open plan. A 2nd floor was also added, providing the home with 5 bedrooms, 5 ½ bathrooms, and an attic that can be converted into an additional bedroom suite with an additional bathroom. A 3rd garage bay was also added on to the side.
