This outdated 1960’s kitchen felt dark and cramped and was too small to support the nicely sized colonial home. The adjacent garage was rarely used and the owner wanted to integrate the space for everyday family use. New state of the art energy efficient appliances and solid cherry cabinets with granite countertops were installed. The project included a new raised and insulated floor at the former garage with new finished hardwoods throughout. New down lights, under cabinet lights and pendant lights on dimmers were added for night time use.

The new owners of this 2-story home in the University City section of Philadelphia wanted to renovate and update the entire interior prior to moving in. The first floor plan was opened up, creating a much larger brighter living area. The kitchen received an entirely new layout to maximize the space available. New French doors were installed to the revamped read deck. At the second floor, a new bathroom and master suite were installed and the entire floor was updated.

This project included a full interior demolition of the old kitchen. The new layout included a new powder room, counter seating bar area, and renovations to the adjacent breakfast area.
